After a longer than anticipated walk what a fantasic surprise that the Boathouse was still open and serving. A cheery welcome and some excellent cake. The lemon polenta cake was divine! All delivered to the outside tables. Fantasic food and views whilst we rested our tired legs. We even managed to purchase a loaf of their homemade bread.
The perfect spot, the food was simple but fantastic, the glass of wine was delicious and the service excellent. Enjoying the local produce with a stunning view and our pup with us was just perfection highly recommend. I actually bought a beautiful lino print of the Boathouse from the Calgary Art Gallery to remember our visit.
The served foot was very delicious and fresh. Sitting out side at the service or inside is both perfect. The tables are arranged on various spots around the restaurant. We have enjoyed the time at The Boathouse and can recommend a visit.
Fantastic setting, super friendly staff/owners. An altogether lovely experience and the cuisine is fresh, local and beautifully cooked. Their focaccia is the best we have tasted.
