The Chew Chew - Tisch reservieren

We treated our friend to dinner. He loved the train themed decor, epically the cleaver scenery coach seats. We almost sat outside because it was a beautiful night, but he wanted a table by the window instead. We ordered the muscles appitizer and it was great. All three of us ordered seafood dinners, including the fresh catch of the day. Everyone remarked on how outstanding the food and presentation was. The delicious mashed sweet potatoes had a little slice of lotus on top. Absolutely picturesque. The roasted asparagus was out of this world. The size of the scallops was absolutely unbelievable. They were definitely the largest and freshest scallops our friend had ever eaten. He lives on the North shore and he was completely impressed. We were celebrating a birthday and received a very nice bowl of ice cream with chocolate hard sprinkles on top which all three of us shared after distinguishing the candle. It was definitely a fun event Chew chew has an extensive wine and cocktail list. They have a separate bar area for people who would like to just grab a drink and appetizer, or just some simple bar foods. As always we enjoyed the bread with herbed butter. Owner Scott was busy delivering carryout food to cars and checking on the outside seating as well as hosting the people inside. He's an amazing guy Afterwards, we took our friend for a walk over to Aunt Diana's and he bought some candy for his wife who was not able to join us today. It was an absolutely perfect day in the lovely town of Riverside

I have always loved the Chew Chew but have been sequestering myself in my home and in my office for the most part. I've only once had dinner out since May, and then at someone's invitation. A friend who lives in the northern suburbs met me at my home and we had a wonderful dinner at the Chew Chew. She is a cook (not professionally) and raved about the food, not to mention the service. The noise level was what you would expect in any good dinner restaurant, not quiet, but not loud enough to interfere at all in our conversation. The wait person we had was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had the Duck Potstickers which were amazing. I've had pot stickers in China and Singapore and lots in the US and they were perfect. Did I say they were perfect? And of course Scott is the perfect host. If you are considering the Chew Chew, don't consider it. Just do it

The Chew chew has NEVER disappointed in their food. Quality food, Exquisite cocktails. menu changes with the season or holiday. Highly recommend

Great place . Great food!!! Service was slow, but I think that is the way all places are running now with staff shortages
