We went for a Champagne afternoon tea. It was a gift from our daughter, and what a lovely present it was. Tea or coffee, dainty sandwiches, and yes they did have the crusts removed. Scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream and then very yummy cakes. Thank you to all. After we had a slow walk around Amersham Old Town, and took some time sitting on a bench in the Memorial Gardens. Beautiful. Service: 4
What a beautiful place to stay, in such a beautiful location. Staff were wonderful. I arrived just after the kitchen shut but the lovely chef said he'd make me something I enjoyed a lovely Sausage mash in such a historic building. Rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit tired, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, the shower holder, broken, both of them but the room was nice super soft bed and generous tea/coffee facility's. The staff are so nice and very helpful. Good parking at the rear besides the rooms. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
