The Royal Oak Gastro Pub

We stayed the night, the room was spacious and clean, the shower was good. A decent hairdryer in the room was a bonus according to my partner. We ate there in the evening the food was fantastic and the staff were great, I only suggest booking a table when you book the room as we were there on a Tuesday and they were busy had to wait an hour for a table, but it was well worth the wait, just had a drink while we waited. The breakfast in the morning was lovely too poached eggs were perfect and good quality sausage and bacon

I eat here regularly, as we live in the village. The food is great and fresh, the drinks are also very good. Staff always friendly. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

Was there to celebrate a wedding, lovely food and atmosphere, first class. Rooms: Didn't stay but saw a couple of rooms, very acceptable. Hotel highlights: Great value
