Still thinking about those Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders! On a casual Saturday drive trough the Bowmanville area on a "Girls' Outing", we asked a friend to recommend a place to eat which led us to Three-Six. We were pleasantly surprised! The decor was lovely, the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable about food, and displayed some of the best customer service we've seen in a long time. We shared the Chicken sliders and they were so delicious. The biscuits they are served on simply melt in your mouth. As this was lunch, we ate light by each having a salad or soup with our 1 slider each, although we all admitted we couldn't have eaten 3 of those sliders each as we simply craved for more....that's how good they are! We certainly will be back as we need to try more of their delicious menu. They source many locally grown ingredients and everything was house made. You know it's a good restaurant when you ask for bread with your soup and they say, it will just be a moment as I'll warm the bread for you. Who doesn't live warm bread?! Our server even made recommendations of stores that we would like while waking the small strip, and she was right, lovely clothes and jewelry (at Gather especially). Loved our experience and will certainly be back.
On our first visit we were warmly welcomed even though we had no reservation and we were seated immediately in this spacious dining room. The atmosphere is upbeat, but cool. Our server was friendly and attentive.We shared the crab cakes with lemon basil aioli and they were delicious. My wife had a flat iron steak that was perfectly cooked and tender. I enjoyed a shrimp & scallop fettuccini in a rose sauce...peppery, tender and delicious. For dessert, we shared a cheesecake with caramel and chopped pecans.We really enjoyed our first visit and will definitely return for more.
Huge selection of local craft beers. Food was excellent, daily specials always on offer. My wife and I had the chicken fettuccine, delicious (the only complaint I could make is that it didn't come with a side). Our friends had the fried chicken and lamb shank, all very pleased with their food.We tried the brownie ice cream cake for dessert to share, also exemplary.Service was phenomenal; took care of use without hovering, and did not rush out the door.Definitely worth going back to visit again. Highly recommend.
Six of us went for a birthday celebration. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was very good, The portions were quite large but there was no problem taking home a doggie bag for the next day. A little on the pricey side and the restaurant itself is not very large so it did get quite noisy around the dinner hour.
