Ullmann's Zuckerbackerei

Ullmann's is a (visual) highlight in an otherwise nondescript quarter of high-rise apartments and offices. Nice and inviting interior decoration, so kudos for that. I have been twice so far (working at one of those nearby offices) and not tried their cakes yet, but the salmon bagel (toasted) was good. Service was very friendly the first time I was there and so-so the second. The homemade lemonades are good, but a bit too sweet for my taste and definitely overpriced. Speaking of which, it is not the cheapest place, full stop. I guess a side-effect of having a kind of monopoly in the area...until this quarter gets some more nice cafés.

Der erste Eindruck ist toll. Hippes und gemütliches Design, tolle Torten- und Kuchenauswahl, abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte. Doch sobald man bedient wird, weicht der Eindruck einem enttäuschenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Service ist okay, doch unaufmerksam. Die Speisen und das Süße schmecken mäßig, doch kosten anständig, ebenso die Limonaden. Der Kaffee ist fad und der Eiskaffee einer der schlechtesten, die ich je bekommen habe.Für ein kleines Café am Badesee würde das noch durchgehen, doch für die Lage, Preise und Aufmachung zu meiden. Was wir schade finden, weil wir ums Eck wohnen und sonst öfter kämen.

Etwas abseits vom Trubel der groß Stadt fanden wir ullmann's Zuckerbäckerei ein schicker landen mit leckeren Kuchen und Kaffee kann ich nur weiter empfehlen fand auch das Preis Leistung voll in Ordnung es gibt auch noch eine Eis Auswahl also für jeden etwas dabei bei meinen nächste Wien Besuch steht das Café ganz oben wenn es um Kuchen geht und um etwas ab zuschalten und zum genießen

for all skeptics, for all those who think that in vienna breakfast is an option, I strongly invite you to make a jump in this pastry shop! it goes from typical dishes of the American tradition to the typical products of the Austrian tradition. think that the premises, especially on the weekend, book the table for breakfast! Let's jump if you're in the prater area!

Cute pastry bar right in front of the novotel where we stayed. Discreet the apfelstruedel while the other pasta tasted (of which I don't remember the name) did not taste good. They're also discreet. Friendly staff. Prices in the average of vienna.
