It is fall here and a lot of restaurants serve the wild dishes. This restaurant does it as well. The meal was great, actually, it exceeded all the expectations. We ordered deer fillet, it was served twice. First, with pear and spaetzle, the second portion was with vegetables. The wine matched the meat. Needless to say, the hostess was very attentive and well-professional. And of course a French touch of L'arte a vivre en France.
Because the Mühle has still the whole mill wheel and construction to see and I have experienced very good food before, I invited my friend to have dinner there. We sat at a beautifully set table, received a wonderful tapenade to start with and then a delicious kind of flammekueche as a greeting from the kitchen. Service by the wife of the tenant/cook was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I ate a superb Egli (fish) fillet meal with a varied and tasty side dish. My friend enjoyed her porc cordon-bleu with spätzli and a crisp salad before. We had an excellent dinner with a pleasant conversation with the chef 's wife in this traditional, beautiful place with parking just by the restaurant.
I chose Mühle restaurant to celebrate my wedding anniversary and I have nothing to regret. The service was excellent, the owners were always doing everything to make our dinner special. We were served with a 5 course dinner and all dishes were very good.
