We have stayed at the Hotel Gasthof Markterwirt 3 times on our vacation trip. Every time we were served very nicely and the food was always very good! Thank you very much and we will definitely come again! Service: 5 Location: 5
We had an outstanding Dinner at the Restaurant. A voluptuous amd fresh salad with speck, a fantastic and fluffy spinach dumpling with meltet goatcheese and a regional roast pork with parsil potatoes and a bavarian style bread dumpling alos very fluff and tasty. Had it not be fresh in the June evenings, we would have enjoyed the dinner and the Craft Beer varieties in the terrace under a few old trees. I will return for sure. Food unfortunately carelessly prepared. We knew that differently from previous years. Schnitzel tasted weird with strong off flavors seemed to be due to the oil. Fried potatoes served as giant truemmer. Roast onions, although soft, but tasteless juice (didn't taste like roast onions) Porcini mushroom soup with pieces of bread tasted OK, but is visually appealing. Atmosphere in the room very nice. Were totally nice sitting in the room. Food was good, but we switched to other food partly because of the long wait when ordering pizza. It's a shame that out-of-town pizza customers are given preference over local guests who also consume drinks. The waiter wasn't quite on our wavelength.
