Parking at the hotel. Nice reception and guidance to the room in the opposite dependance. room simple but complete. The restaurant serves classic Swiss dishes against modern prizes. Tasteful and friendly service. Been here a few years ago. Nothing changes. But now they're apparently renovating. By the way, there's a pool outside.
Staying at the hotel, we enjoyed our dinner there. The restaurant is quite spacious and there is plent of wood to give it an authentic feel. On the evening we were there there were a few local groups of friends and also the local football club's dinner. It was lovely to feel it was so genuine, being surrounded by locals.Food and wine was good and service was excellent. We were able to relax and enjoy the evening soaking up the local atmosphere (and wine.)
Homecoming with the spring card. Fresh asparagus and strawberries. All well prepared. Porters good but price too high.
We stop in here every once and a while for their specialty food programs. Certain times of the year they will host food specialty weeks. Once a menu with a brewery, another Thai week, or Walliser week. Something different than the normal avg. food they regularly have on the menu card.
the restaurant seems to be pre-determined to the people of the region. a lot of theme nights, loto, weddings, etc. . . has our first visit, we were asked to eat in another room and on another occasion we were served in the corner of the bistro. we expected to be much better: the kitchen is very ordinary and not copyy, which is not the case of prices.
What a shabby hotel and the worst breakfast so far on the trip. They did not replace what was depleted, there were no pastries... Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 2
