I was in the restaurant with my daughter and I needed to change her diaper when I asked for baby table, the owner said only the baby and I can't go to the toilet that was so rude I have the right to go as anyone else. The atmosphere was not good everyone was looking at us. The owner was rude to another family in the middle of the restaurant then send him out. It was a terrible experience.
Had one of the most disturbing experiences in my life today as I accompanied my sister and grandma to the washroom after having coffee where the manager started to make a commotion about us 'Muslim ladies' not being allowed because he expected a mess from us. We eventually got in as he continued his horrible manners and tone. As i waited outside, he came into the women washroom with my grandma and sister still inside with absolutely no permission, knowing very well how much we value conservatism and violating our privacy saying "it's my business, i need to check if it's clean." At this point, we head to the door leaving the washroom spotless and I ask him to treat his customers better and he raises his voice in attempt to embarrass us in front of the customers. My father came in for an explanation as the manager said ' I don't allow muslim women into the bathroom' and proceeded to say 'I don't care' when we said he will be reported. I am disgusted and shaken by this racist treatment. DO NOT ENCOURAGE THIS BY GOING THERE
The staff was not friendly ,for no obvious reason. They told us we can't to go to the toilet! We asked for potato soup without meat but we found meat in it and we couldn't eat it. We will not go there again.
Enjoy the view from the bottom of a pot - surrounded by beautiful mountains towering up around you. I enjoyed an authentic Austrian schnitzel with boiled potatoes and lingonberry jam. The staff here is also very friendly and service minded. Do not miss out on Bad Gasteins best Zirbenschnaps. You can also buy them in bottles at the restaurant before you leave.
The restaurant is near the main parking place in Sport Gastein.You can stay inside or outside where you will be served at the same level and quality as inside. The restaurant doesn’t provide self-service what is good! So you can enjoy the great atmosphere of the mountains – btw. According to my opinion Sport Gastein is the most beautiful part of the Gastein valley.Food – great quality for reasonable price. Everything we took was perfectly fresh from great ingredients and tasted amazingly. Service – no complains – very professional, fast, kind and helpful. Locality – you should walk a bit from the lift but it definitely worth walking. In conclusion – we took a car ride from Bad Gastein to eat there that’s how we loved that restaurant.
Spent a day at SportGastein before spoiling ourselves at Valeriehaus, what a fantastic end to a bit of fun tobogganing. The food was exceptional, the staff were friendly and cheerful and the place was spotless.
Very good burger and chips....and house red to match. Popular lunch venue and very friendly service. Outside is great and plentiful parking.
