This place was a find with delicious food, excellent service and a wonderful casual environment. We ate on the back lawn area and just loved it. Two of our party had the Chateaubriand and found it exceptional.
I had two complimentary 4 course dinners here as part of my stay over the Easter weekend. The appetizers, clear soup, wild garlic cream, baked egg and salads were very good. On the first night the butter perch fish was too buttery for me, but on the second night the salmon steak with wild rice was very tasty. The waitress who could speak English provided very good service. On the first night the waitress couldn't understand English so perhaps the restaurant should try to assign English speaking waitresses to non Germans. The setting is fine dining but I felt it was s little too warm, so make sure you wear layered jackets that can be removed easily.
They had a great variety of food. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive to the needs of the customer.

We'd eaten here occasionally in past years. This year we found a refurbished and brighter restaurant. Friendly service, limited Easter menu (at least it was open, unlike many other spots in Bad Ragaz). Food was OK (as it usually is in Switzerland, but not distinctively better than many other restaurants.
Um 20:45 Uhr betraten wir das Restaurant und fragten uns, ob wir etwas essen könnten. Der sehr, sehr unfreundliche Kellner bemerkt: „Es steht draußen bis 20:30 Uhr.“ Mir geht es gut, wenn sie nach 20:30 Uhr nicht bereit sind, freundliche Kunden zu bedienen, aber ich erwarte von ihnen, dass sie mich freundlich und weise behandeln.
Wir haben unseren Abend im Restaurant im Park wirklich genossen, das Essen war außergewöhnlich, genauso wie der Service. Wir freuen uns auf die Rückkehr.
it was late in the afternoon and we just wanted one bite, not a complete dinner. we sat immediately and received a menu with descriptions by a very friendly waitress. she went out of her to make sure we had everything we wanted. even though it would be a smaller one, and eating was excellent.
