It is very nice to eat and look through the window the marktplatz and the town hall. everything is abundant (the drink and the potatoes are giant) although expensive. the very friendly staff. take into account that they charge the dressings and the bathroom apart.

I don't usually review the mc donald's, but for the Swiss, I'll tear the rule. considering the high costs of the city, this is the only place where you can have lunch or dinner spending little, through the offer "big bang" which included a sandwich (choice of four available) more chips and soft drinks I could dine with only 8.90 francs per person, very affordable price and almost in line with our Italians. fast food is in front of the magnificent red rathaus.
We went to McDs for a quick burger the first day. Actually hit the spot! Plus it is one of the few places that doesnt charge you money to use the bathrooms! The MCCafe downstairs serves great pastry items at a reasonable price and is cozy, comfortable and quite, unlike the mac donalds upstairs which has the normal bustle of the burger crowds.

located in the very central markplatz is the place to eat the classic sandwiches mc donald's. it is more expensive than the Italian ones but still you spend less than the pubs of the city.

Often you tend to go to mcdonald's or other similar fast food for a quick lunch or dinner without wanting to spend an exorbitant amount, or at least you think you do so because at basilea it is not exactly the case! mcdonald that develops on three floors, you spend about 15/20 euros per person for a menu with hambuger (any type,) chips and soft drinks. we must enter the perspective that we are in the German Swiss and that the prices are exorbitant, but the Swiss franc - euro exchange is almost 1 - 1 so it is absolutely exaggerated. if you want only a patatina 3.50 euros, a cappuccino 6.50 euros. The bathroom is with the code written on the receipt.
