They had on offer a 16 euro 3 course evening menu. We just choose two main courses, one the Kärntner Knödel a speciality of the area and a Cordon Blue Schnitzel (10 Euro) The Kärntner was good but not the best. But value for money was amazing. The room is a touch bright for evening dining. Service was fine, we were the only customers eating in that room.
Nach einem intensiven Schulungsvormittag mit sehr aufmerksamer Betreuung des Services haben wir noch das Mittagessen im Gasthof Lenzhofer genossen. Gutbürgerliche Küche, sah alles sehr gut aus, Sonderwünsche wurden prompt erfüllt und die Portionen sind wirklich reichlich. Top Gasthof mitten im Gailtal
Firstly you get a very warm welcome by the host Johannes. He is always in for a laugh and a joke, a genuinly interested in his guests always up for a small conversation. when you walk in to the restaurant, there is a small bar as well where the locals drink. It's a family company (since 1930) Johnnanes wife and mother run the kitchen and have done this for many years. They do a very good job. I've visited this restaurant many many times, every visit the food maintained the same good quality. Mostly I've ordered Austrian food, because there just very good in making it. A schnitzel, sausage, rinderbraten, a nice beef with fries or 'bratkartoffeln' comibined with a great salad such a "Kartoffelsalad". Nice soups, pasta's, nudeln. Low priced menu's, last year the menu was 12,50 for three courses. Because I always visit the restaurant in summer, I meet a lot of returning costumers year in year out.Summarizing my review:lovely host, a lot of locals and returning customers mostly locals, they prepare the meat really well same for the salads. Low priced menu, but great quality.
Goede Oostenrijkse keuken. Zeer gastvrij personeel. Een restaurant waar wij graag naar terug gaan! Mooi terras buiten en bij koud weer, gezellige ruimte binnen.
Ci siamo fermati per caso, facendo il giretto della domenica.Abbiamo trovato in un ambiente curato, del personale molto gentile e disponibile.Il titolare parla abbastanza bene l'italiano.le pietanze sono di buona qualità e ben presentate nel piatto.I contorni a buffet di diversi tipi non mancano e sono compresi con le pietanze ordinate.Secondo noi c'è un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.Se ripasseremo dalle parti di Dellach ci fermeremo di sicuro lì.
