Nachdem ich in meinem Leben in vielen mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichneten Restaurants zu Abend gegessen habe, frage ich mich, warum dies (noch) nicht mit einem Stern ausgezeichnet wurde. Alles war fabelhaft, vom Essen bis zum Service. Der Veranstaltungsort ist hübsch und klein (ungefähr 60 Sitzplätze, schätze ich), daher wird eine Reservierung empfohlen. Stefano, der Besitzer und Chefkoch, ist ein liebenswerter Mann und seine Frau ist genauso nett. Ich würde dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da es das beste Essen war, das ich während meines Aufenthalts in Zürich gegessen habe. Frische Zutaten, hausgemachte Pasta und hervorragende Desserts; was braucht man sonst noch? Es sollte genügen zu sagen, dass ich erst vor ein paar Stunden dort war und beschlossen habe, auch für morgen Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren! Tun Sie sich selbst einen Gefallen und besuchen Sie diesen Ort!
As an Italian food lover this is my favourite high class italian in Zurich. Great quality ad not overpriced. Meet on BBQ, Pasta or Fish is always top quality.Speaking of fish I haven't found a better Branzino anywhere else so far, you got to try it!Valet parking availablePaolo
- Excellent food with only the best and freshest ingredients;- One of the oldest Italien restaurants in Zurich (over 100 years);- High quality kitchen, food and ingredients; - Only the freshest and finest food comes on the table (so sometimes things are out);- Relatively small and tables have to be reserved ahead;- Best location for two is to sit at the bar and have the chief serve you all from this charcoal grill (just trust him!);- Wine is not cheap but by far not the most expensive in Zurich;- Desserts are excellent but selection is not that big and changes often;- The price for the quality and cooking is correct ... but it is high quality Italien food with a correct price attached to it;- Service is very friendly, funny and not complicated; you can come as you wish (no special dress code); if customers are relaxed then the service is relaxed; - You do not get any better Italien food than here (you can believe me I have been to many restaurants in and around Zurich);
If you love roasted goat - than you have to come here before Easter. If you love asparagus with morels - than you have to come here during asparagus and morel seasos. If you love home made agnolotti and Italian dishes and a great wine list - than you have to come here year round! The chef Stefano and his wife Mariana greet their guests personally, the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly and changes in the menu are not a problem at all. We love to come here for special occasions.
We came here for lunch and took the suggestions: artichoke with burrata as a starter, Ossining bucco as a main and the Saint Honoré as a dessert.As a wine we chose the Le Cupole Trinoro 2012.We had a fantastic meal with excellent Italian service.
Since 1985 I have been visiting this noble place with a great pleasure, although its name has changed twice in the meantime (as long as I know) i.e. Piccoli Accademia, Accademia and now under the current name; the restaurant seemingly has changed hands several times. But the quality of cuisine and service have been maintained at a high level. There are several lunch menus up to 50 SFr., which offer best value. Dishes a-la-carte are rather expensive but you will be very satified after all. They also have a good selection of wine. One of the best Italians in Zurich.
This restaurant keeps quality high, for many years it is everytime a great pleasure to visit accademia del gusto. The delicious food, the rich wine card, the tasty deserts, all really top of the top and at fair price. Located very centrally, parking might be an issue, but they even have a few valet parking slots, just ask. Highly recommended.
Very refined restaurant for a dinner with a tone. There is great attention to details and setting is banquet style. The dishes are upper-scale, with attention to both presentation and flavour.
