Wir haben an diesem Ort mit ein paar Freunden zu Abend gegessen. Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker. Einige Freunde hatten Fleischgerichte und waren auch mit der Qualität sehr zufrieden. Die Portionsgrößen sind sehr gut und mehr als ausreichend. Die Prüfungen waren für Schweizer Verhältnisse fair. Es war ziemlich voll, vergessen Sie also nicht, im Voraus einen Tisch zu reservieren.

We had dinner at this place with some friends. The pizzas were very tasty. Some friends had meat dishes and they were also very happy with the quality. The serving sizes are very good and more than enough. The proves were fair for swiss standards. It was quite full, so dont forget to book a table in advance.
We tried "Scala" restaurant out of curiosity, and looking forward for a pizza (also considering other good TA reviews).The experience was extremely disappointing.I had the unlucky idea of starting with a "caprese": it was made of some slices of tomato, and 6 thin slices of normal mozzarella (the original one should be done with buffalo mozzarella!). Not sure that was really worth the price of 16CHF......As for the pizza, we had a "calabrese" (almost decent) and a pizza with ham (very basic, poor-quality ham). Also, I am not sure to understand why pizzas are prepared in an oval shape...We did not dare to ask for a dessert.Staff was relatively nice, and service was quick.In absolute terms, prices look reasonable, but if you consider the food/ingredients quality, it is simply not worth.Don't think I'll ever come back.
Been to la Scala numerous times for romantic dinners, business lunches, or just for a take-away pizza. Fabulous food and excellent service each and every time... :)
We go there from time to time for a pizza, and it's always very nice. The shape is funny, but don't be scared! :)Only one "warning" for the purists: the "speck" on the Zola is not speck, but more like ossocollo (round, seasoned, but differently than speck).
Had a dinner alone, found this place through this app. Tasty, good service, crowded. Recommend to all.
This restaurant has been there for decades, doing very well all along, famous for its great pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. It is well known and popular, for sure on weekends you need to make reservations as it is not very big. The selection and combinations of topping is great, all of the finest, including some special Autumn versions. Nice little touch, the pizzas are not "plain round" (but oval) and don't come on plate (but on on wooden board). Clearly to come back for more.
