Ich komme schon Jahre her, war nun eine Weile nicht mehr Gast im Don Leone. Gestern hat uns wieder einmal mehr vollends überzeugt, vielen Dank für die tolle Pizza und den preiswerten Wein!
Früher war das Restaurant eine tolle Adresse. Heute lebt es leider nur noch vom Ruhm glorreicher Zeiten. Der Wein ist viel zu teuer! Teilweise muss man trotz Reservation eine Stunde warten. Schade. Das Essen ist trotzdem lecker, darum die 3 Punkte.
Sehr aufmerksamer Service, sehr gute Pizza, man fühlt sich wohl und familiär, ist aber ziemlich eng gestuhlt. Guter Hauswein, Tiptop.
It was quite dark and hot, very busy. The food was terrible, we were 4 and any of the dishes were worth it from italian people. The pizzas were quite big, but unfortunately not tasteful. A no go!
The first look may fool you, but if you observe at the bottles of Italian wine all over the place, you start thinking a good day begins in the morning!The wine list is super, all Italian, at an acceptable price.The best pizza I had outside of Italy so far, finally a place where the pasta is cooked AL DENTE without asking it.The spaghetti pomodorini and basilico impeccable, never forget that the easier the dish the more complicated is the execution as there is little you can work with!The prosciutto, la mozzarella di bufala and the burrata, are really good.The meat is of very good quality well cooked with generous sides of potato and grilled vegetables.The service is good and polite, sometimes a little bit understaffed, and reservation is suggested if you want to go there before 9pm as it is always crowded.The price is a little over average but is completely justified by the impeccable quality of the products served.Probably the place I like the most in Zurich
Siamo passati per caso davanti a questo locale, malgrado fosse piuttosto presto per la cena (18.30) era già abbastanza pieno ma ci è stato trovato posto anche senza prenotazione. Accolti in italiano, personale molto cordiale e gentile. Pizza all'altezza delle migliori pizzerie italiane, abbondante e ricca di condimento, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo tenuto conto dei livelli dei costi di Zurigo, una delle città più care che abbia mai visitato.Molto molto consigliato
Quando entri capisci subito che c'è qualcosa di speciale, chi ti accoglie è il signor Franco, scambiando due parole con lui ti sembra di conoscerlo da una vita. Lui conosce già i tuoi gusti, percepisce al volo le tue richieste. Tutte le pietanze sono semplicemente elaborate, qui ci sta il paradosso, in questo luogo si riesce a trasformare la pietanza più semplice in un infinità di sapori e gusti. Il giudizio non può che essere superlativo, tutto da provare dalle pizze al dolce. Non dimenticate di degustare la selezione di vini, che il titolare sceglie personalmente nei luoghi di origine. Se siete da quelle parti entrateci.
Well i am not so amazed about the interior, not really my style, but the food and the service is very good. This italian restaurant is highly recommended.I have been here twice, first time there were very busy, but made place for me and two of my friends, second time we just booked a table, all went easy.
