Really awesome place to eat and drink when the weather is right. Lots of sun, stunning views and marvelous food. Staff is friendly. Prices reasonable. Expect 19 Swiss francs for their most extensive burger, 11.50 Swiss francs for their small Ceasar chicken parmesan salad which is big, 3.5 CHF for a draft beer ander 6.5 CHF for a glass of wine. Unfortunately they don't have WiFi. American Express is accepted. The small menu has events from 2015 on its back. Time for an update!
Stunning decoration with the beautiful view to the lake. I was surprised by the variety of the menu. The salads are a great choice.
The location is simply great - looking at the beautiful Werdenberg castle. The food is always good, the beverages as well. Great place for every time of the day and on every occasion.
Considering the offer in the area, this is actually pretty good: great view of the small lake and medieval castle and perfect for a evening beer in a sunny day or a small lunch of soup and sandwich.
As everywhere in Switzerland, it was very expensive. hamburgers were not a big deal... But it was a very nice spot, by the lake! quite some insects on the air, but we remained in the inside room :) Our waiter was awesome!
A very pretty view in any season- including winter, pricey- though average for Switzerland- drinks are worth it!
It's a nice location, considering also there is not much similarly nice ones in the region nearby. Panorama is wonderful, especially in sunlight.Food is fairly OK, but 've certainly eaten better food already (again, in the region nearby, it would count as one of the bests!). Quality - price relation is also fairly OK. Menu card could be a little more longer and get refreshed regularly. If I remember well, there was no change in the last two of more years, which is in my opinion makes it a bit boring!Crew is very nice, and food has been served also quite fast compared to the fully booked out situation on a Friday night.Nothing really more to talk about, it is fairly OK, but not more. (There is still room for improvement.)
Nice place to take a drink or eat something light, not my first time here, you can have a walk around the lake and city center is not to far, every time I go to a family member in Sevelen village near by, I don't hesitate to take a quick tour in Buchs... nice view mountains all a round very cool.
