the rostis here were the best we had in the Swiss! the food came out quite quickly and it was delicious. the place had a fantastic ambiente and we felt like home.
on the way to the meal with the family. we find this restaurant with the tripadviser app. restaurant beautifully decorated. No one speaks English, but we did. large portions, tasty eating and local beer. prices are high, but it is black
on the way to Italy we were in buochs and had to find a restaurant. we stopped at brains and enjoyed a delicious carving. enough to eat! and. served by a very nice lady!

A bit off the main thoroughfare but the food is genuine the service is exceptional. After entering, we were quickly asked if we preferred smoking or non-smoking to be truthful, it was rather smoky downstairs. We had a private room upstairs to ourselves,...but were well attended to by our courteous waitress. The menu is not in English, but Google Translate did a pretty good job for us, when the restricted English of our waitress failed. We both chose the soup Veal Cordon-Bleus for our meals this was accompanied by a surprisingly pleasant Swiss Pinot Noir. The soup was full of flavour, thick full of meat vegetables (similar to a Minestrone) could easily have been a meal on its own. The Veal when it arrived was huge, covering almost half the plate accompanied by potato croquets (similar to Hash Browns), carrots, Swedes beans. We could have managed with 1 Cordon-Bleu between the two of us, as they were so massive. Again, nicely cooked full of Veal, ham cheese. Needless to say, we did not need dessert could only waddle back downstairs to pay the most reasonable bill. The most curious part of the experience, were the stuffed animals placed on various surfaces around the room, which seemed to watch you whilst you ate! Quite unique, although a bit on the weird side! Otherwise, a very enjoyable lunch worth a visit.
A fantastic find!!! Great Staff, Food, Beers and Wine. Reasoable prices. Very Local Atmosphere!!! Will be back.
Went here after reading reviews about their food and value for money. But as we walked in, we were hit by a wall of cigarette smoke. We are a non smoking couple and although not against the smell of smoke. We like to enjoy our...food without being surrounded by smoke. We left and ate somewhere else.
