An unforgettable evening in the Don Antonio restaurant where quality and cordiality meet On Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 8:00 p.m., we spent a magical evening in the Don Antonio restaurant in Burgdorf. This small but extremely cozy place is run with a lot of dedication by Giusy, the manager and waitress at the same time. It is the perfect address for lovers of classic Italian cuisine who value authenticity and taste. The dining experience began with an absolutely delicious pizza that was crispy and generously topped. The combination of creamy mascarpone and the finest Parma ham gave the pizza an incomparable aroma that delighted our taste buds. The risotto with gorgonzola and radicchio was also a dream creamy, full bodied and perfectly seasoned. But not only the kitchen was convincing, the service by Giusy was also impeccable. Her warm manner and her attentiveness made sure that we felt completely at home and always like to come back to this restaurant. A particular anecdote rounded off our visit: after our last visit, Giusy had noticed that we had paid too much due to a mistake. She found out in which hotel we were staying and appeared personally at the reception to bring us the overpaid money and that at 11pm! This extraordinary gesture surprised us so positively that we thanked her a thousand times and left her a generous tip. If she hadn't come to see us, we would never have noticed the error. This experience speaks volumes for the high quality and outstanding character of Giusy and her restaurant Don Antonio. We have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone, anytime. If you are looking for excellent Italian cuisine and a place where you feel at home, then the Don Antonio restaurant in Burgdorf is the right choice. We were traveling on business and discovered the location on Google Maps. Haven't regretted it! Super friendly staff and very Italian, authentic pizzas. If you visit Burgdorf, then it is THE recommendation! Gladly again next time!
