bad quality of food and on top-pricy! eating was blunt with all dressed tasting quite the same. it was as if there were no crumbled or spiced on any court. we had as starters the taco with crabs and bao. taco tortilla...was tasteless and the filling. bao totally cut . for main courses we had the cod and noodles with allegedly great garnel the cod was inexpensive, he was burned and very small. the noodles were even worse. completely flat on taste with medium sized garnel price on very disappointing experience overall, practically lacked all Asian flavors and the payment of a wealth service was very good and polite, I must give them that

my wife and I stumbled on this restaurant while I went to carouge to eat somewhere. without reservation, the staff made us most welcome and has attached us to the barbeque. the employees at the service tonight, oct were busy, but. very attentive and helpful to guide us through the menu. we tried several starters and a mix of main courses, all excellent. we would go back and recommend the venue without reservation.
I was there with my wife. I always wanted to be in this restaurant. Although I thought it was from outside to chic, it was a great surprise when you went inside: the restaurant is more accessible than ever. even a family. more casual view. we came TEN...minutes in advance and were very poorly greeted by a waiter. I said that we had to stop, instead of saying something he did the classic gesture: so what we had to press in the entrance of the kitchen and we were not offered to ask for a drink or something. very poor service. and no one took our hunting. do you imagine just stopping in a restaurant? pakupaku is the first restaurant I've ever been without waiting zone. we sat among others and we asked for food. wine selection good, prices moderated for a restaurant in carouge. food price expensive for what it is. they have this Asian fusion touch and eating was really good. our bad server is a pity that I don't know that his name has left us after we have asked for water next to wein, how often. he was replaced by bilal, one of the best and most attentive server I had to meet that. explained the desserts, took care of us, was attentive. We really enjoyed our diner at Pakupaku. We did not have a reservation so we had to come back a little later, which was fine. After coming back, the service was great and very personal. They serve local wines and introduce other parts of the...menu if necessary. The terrace was full and atmospheric, but not noisy. We highly recommend visiting this place!
For the price of the food you expect a better service: no explanations of the menu, our salmon was way too cooked (disappointing for a Japanese restaurant), no feedback asked by the staff after our diner and nonchalant staff..
Very relaxing place. Good food. Shared dished concept . Charming personnel. They have Japanese beer. The Beuf Tataki it’s really really good.
I’ve been to Japan many times over the past three years and can say that PakuPaku is up there with some of the best Tokyo and Osaka places I’ve eaten in. The chefs work endlessly and well. The food comes in good sized portions and...is sumptuous. The eel grilled on a stick was sublime. Pork was unctuous. Noodles with veg. a large, slippery plate full. Spring rolls duck and prawn crispy and tasty; good sauces. A nice sorbet to end. Service was good and friendly. The setting is very attractive. A rare stars from me. Well done!
