Thank you to a previous reviewer for the recommendation!We found this restaurant just two streets away from our ABC hotel (out of the hotel bear right, across one street and I believe you will see it on the next street).Restaurant looks good from the outside and smells great on the inside. A smiling welcome and good service throughout. The pizzas were delicious - I believe I ordered Hawaiian - it came with Pineapple, and on the side was a jar of chilli sauce, which is regularly offered with pizza. Absolutely delicious. Beer was good too. Our bill came to chf 53.70 - 2 x pizza, 1 beer, 2 x red wine.No room for dessert - sadly. No hesitation in recommending.
Very nice restaurant in ChurRobert our waiter was very kind and knew everything. He suggested me the Tagliatelle with beef and porcino, and it was awesome. My girlfriend had the freshly made asperagus with potatos and she enjoyed it aswell. All over all this is a place to visit if your looking out for some great italian kitchen. They had a huge card of Pizzas, made in the wood oven.
I've been eating here for the last 16 years and they still have the best pizza around. The competent and friendly staff are more than willing to accommodate any special wishes and if you don't like pizza, there are plenty of other tasty dishes to try. A wide range of wines to accompany whatever you choose and excellent side salads if you feel you need something really healthy! Oh, and don't forget the desserts.........If you're in Chur, a must !
Recommended by the hotel as the nearest restaurant to the hotel (I'd walked my legs and feet off during the day), I was very happy with the choice. A popular restaurant, evidently, I was still warmly welcomed and seated in a pleasant area, with other, happily chatting diners, nearby. My choice of starter, tomato and mozarella, was excellent, the pasta I chose to follow also tasty, and served with a friendly smile. I'm still not sure what the decoration in the centre of the room was all about, but it just added to the atmosphere. Well priced and a lovely place to spend an evening, I am not at all surprised it was so popular.
Expensive but pretty good value for Chur. The food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Service was speedy and efficient. Dining is both formal and informal
Service was uncharacteristically chaotic. We seemed to switch from a waitress to waiter who wasn't aware that we'd already ordered drinks. Pizzas came to the wrong table. When the right pizzas arrived, one was burnt. Another pizza arrived 10 minutes after the first two. Decent food.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly service, good food and excellent wine with a reasonsble price. The Otello is always good place for lunch or dinner with friends or alone.
Service was good and food was good. We ordered risotto and pizza and both were good. Service was good, waiter took the order and brought our food quick too.
