after the meals in most of the fine restaurants in crans montana we were blown away from the quality of the food, the professional friendliness of the service and through the design of the interior. do not miss this place on the way to the second Michelin star.
my wife and I had dinner at l’ours and it was an unforgettable dinner. the presentation and service are first class. we chose the dinner discovery menu that was more than enough. the wine card is extensive and good advice offered on local weeps....High recommended (but not cheap

this gourmet restaurant deserves more than its michelin a star. we went to lunch and frank reynaud's seven-course recognition menu gave surprises for our taste buds. most dishes were garnished with wild flowers and local crimps. the most important fish and meat courses. their own, distinctive sauces with new aromas. from the amuse beech to the cheese and dessert, each dish was a visual and culinary joy. the coffee (served in designer cups) and small delicacies ensured a matching finale to a great meal. the bonus was the personal. the sympathetic sommelier knew his weeping and our server could answer our questions to the original ingredients. the last touch was a valet that drove our car from the deep garage to the entrance of the restaurant. we wouldn't have asked for a better service. this is a gourmet restaurant that we would return with pleasure.
We stopped by the bistro to have lunch and eat really well! Delicious starter and the egg was perfect, different mains with fish cooked beautifully! Service was very pleasant and friendly. Only improvement would be the cheese platter which had no soft cheese like...a tomme or a chèvre! Quality and price was good and at expected swiss standards
We were already several times trying to make a lunch reservation at the Bistro des Ours during the months of July or August, but each time we ended in the main restaurant, because the Bistro was closed. So we never experienced the lunch offered...there for CHF containing a starter, a main and a dessert which we considered a real bargain, especially under the aspect that the main restaurant has points Gault Millau and a Michelin star. Nevertheless, we were always also happy with the lunch menu in the main restaurant which is offered at CHF This time the amuse gueule was a delicious creation from pulpo, followed by a fish tatar, two juicy pieces of guinea fowl and a dessert from apricots Valaisans combined with a sorbet, all perfect and nicely presented. Besides this, the service is very friendly and pleasant, and the view from the terrace into the Valais mountains is overwhelming. In our opinion also the lunch menu at the main restaurant is really in an excellent price/quality ratio, but if it comes to ordering anything to drink, there is a real cashing in: there are only bottles of mineral water available, and each of them costs CHF which means one liter of mineral water is invoiced at CHF Considering this, the CHF for the espresso will not surprise you, and if you will order a bottle of Petite Arvine or someother white wine at CHF your bill will show CHF for the food and CHF for a bottle of wine, one liter of mineral water and two sips of espresso. It would seem appropriate for the hotel to think over this pricing policy, but nevertheless it is up to the clientele to be aware of this.
