In summertime Klosters seems to be seeking an identity,it is primarily a winter ski resort and rather pretentious . This cafe is a friendly ,comfortable spot for coffee and snacks, It would be a good idea if someone helped them with their English spelling and grammar for their murals to compliment their excellent furnishings. Coffee was good but at six pounds cup one would expect it.
We loved this café in Davos. Good coffee, friendly and welcoming staff, and healthy and enjoyable food. Staff were happy to accommodate any dietary issues and we enjoyed everything we tried. Very convenient and near the bus stop. Try it!
I've had mixed experiences in Davos so I wasn't expecting much even with the rave reviews, but I was wrong. Food was fantastic, service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. It was quite expensive, ~30CHF for a salad (huge w/fantastic homemade breads) and a cappuccino but so far it is the best meal I've had in Switzerland so I'll pay the premium.
This is what the rest of Switzerland is missing, a real cafe with a great atmosphere and light food options. I regreted already eating lunch when I popped in for a drink after a hike. The food looked great. I enjoyed a homemade ice tea and brownie.
Have you been to Russia? These ladies work in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We went there every day-- thinking they might get nicer as we became loyal regulars. No!! Have coffee in your hotel room. It more cheerful.
