This restaurant fulfills every expectation of a classical Swiss restaurant where the chef at Bad Eptingen creates dishes that are solid and reliably high in quality. This visit was in midst asparagus season. Tasting the 'Boucher a la Reine with white asparagus and veal sweatbreads made a fantastic first impression. The piece de resistance was the fantastically caramelized veal chop with Morilles, springtime vegetables and pommels pailles. Main course is excellent and should be at CHF 60. Classic chocolate mousse for desert was ok. Be prepared to spend ~150 CHF for an a la carte 3 course meal with wine, worth its price. Service is refined, a fine place to dine and a regular place to return to for special occasions.
Although the restaurant provides quite a range of fish dishes, we preferred the meat. The food was nicely prepared and served. Prices according to Swiss average. EU travelers penalized by the current poor exchange rate.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and service minded. The standard of the food was higher than expected. I had lamb with potatoes, greatly made! The soup was great as a starter and was flavoured with lemongrass and curry!
We arrived in this restaurant after vavinc. Ooked a hotel ight. What a surprise, they still goy 1 table and we took the menu. Every single dish was a good surprise tradutional very fine cuisine. To enjoy!

This place close to the highway, some 30km from Basel is worth to be visited. Restaurant with ambiente with a great collection of excellent paintings by local artists. Fine food, international and local, at reasonable prices. Premium cellar.
