The place is beautiful and clean. The pizzas are good and the menu offers a wide choice. What I didn't like is that half a liter of water costs CHF 5.50 and is served in a jug. A large beer is 6 CHF. Water is always expensive in Switzerland, like a soft drink, but it is usually served in closed bottles. As far as I'm concerned, it can be easy tap water, which is usually free. That seemed too much to me. EDIT: I edit my review with a star after a second visit. Now they serve bottled water at normal price and pizzas are still very good!
Great restaurant and cafe with a beer garden back! The food was fantastic, the restaurant and staff/owners are very friendly. Ettingen train station restaurant is clean and cozy, warm and friendly! ♪
Pizza very good. Service friendly and attentive. atmosphere very cozy, the house protects from the noise. Minus a star because the water is open and half a litre costs 5,50. Nice again!
Very nice, small restaurant with a shady/covered terrace. Pizzas are very tasty and the owner has implemented our extra requests in a friendly manner. Will definitely go again.
Probably the best place to go in the area, if not entire Basel! Nice service, price level that is acceptable for Switzerland and good quality. A great place, right next to the tram stop and it has enough parking available. Try it and you will see!
Restaurant Ettingen Bahnhofli serves up fantastic Italian food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owner and staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and cozy. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with a beer garden out back as well. Situated adjacent to the Ettingen tram stop 10 on Hauptstrasse. It's a great stop for lunch, dinner or just to relax with some drinks. Whichever you decide on, you cannot go wrong at the quaint Bahnhofli! #sehrgut #moltobuona #perfetto
Find yourself at the Basel Badischer Bahnhof train station around mealtime? Don't eat at the station! Instead, head across the street for one of the most memorable meals I've had in recent memory. The food was excellent, the variety huge, and the prices were very reasonable for Switzerland. The small restaurant is a bit of a one-person operation, with a second worker often headed out to deliver a pizza. So if you are in a hurry and looking to grab a quick snack before catching a train, this is probably not the best choice. But we had time, and chose traditional Swiss and German fare over pizza and the food was outstanding.
