given the positive reviews below, I had dinner in salvi gino and was rewarded with great food and service. table booking essential it was absolutely packed. cordial gratitude to the Italian owner and his team: although the restaurant was full, they offered a friendly and very efficient service. the menu reflects everything you can expect from an Italian restaurant, but also seasonal specialties. as an appetizer the guineafowl cream suppe was curious and delicious. as the main course I chose the rinderfilet mignon, wrapped with speck, and served with polnta. delicious and generous. I ended the dinner with a homemade chocolate mousse to die! the bill amounted to CHF80 and reflects the usual Swiss price level.
