I came here for lunch one rainy day in May 2017 and had a traditional meal, which seemed to have been reheated in the microwave (sauce had a skin over it). Granted, I came at the very end of the lunch hour, so I was happy to be served, but still I was disappointed.
In a sea of tawdry tourist eating joints, this restaurnt was a refreshing change: lovely staff, excellent food, reasonable prices. Shame only Austrian wine on their list but we founbd a reasonable one or two

We went to the Weisses Rössl for dinner late June. The restaurant was almost fully booked (so better have a reservation). It mainly offers great Austrian dishes. My Tiroler Groestl was just great. So was the Kaiserschmarrn. The staff is friendly and service is good in general (sometimes just very busy, provided the full restaurant). It was a great experience for my girlfriend who never tried Austrian specialities before. Order a nice bottle of Austrian white wine to accompany the food and the evening will be great.
I had dinner in this place with my girlfriend. Food quality was good but not excellent. Wine very expensive. Beer (radler) was average quality. The terrace outside is confortable and quiet but the view is nothing, I mean you see an old wall :) that's all. We spent almost 35 euro each person. ( 70 global )
We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor (thank you!). It is tucked away but was very busy - we thought because it was a Saturday night. When we returned on a Tuesday night, it was possibly even busier! Food was delicious (Picky Partner said his veal Cordon Bleu was the best he had ever tasted (the menu specified pork but the staff were quite happy to make this dish for him with veal at only a small extra charge). Service was good - food and wine prices were good. Very impressed and very happy to recommend.
Very nice place, with a terrace upstairs. Wiener Schnitzel is really good here. Long time that I had such a good one. Good value for money. I would definitely go there again.
During the hot weather I recommend to use the nice quiet "hidden" terrace in the patio. The restaurant provides good meals in reasonable prices and it has nice atmosphere. We were searching for restaurants in the center for a while and this one looked (and probably was) one of the best choice.
