Nice place you can visit at the A1 highway, decent price for meal. Our food was good abd prepared quickly. There is also a shop downstairs.
Very decent food served at Grauholz! I had a home made pumpkin soup that was delicious with a Mixed salad (gemischter) that was very fresh and tasty. My kids had fish sticks and fries and the very nice surprise were the fish fillets packed in home made batter. Of course the parents ate half the kiddie meal. Desserts were great, nice carrot cake and schwarzwald cake (chocolate, cream and big confit cherries). Coffee was pretty average but drinkable. Nice waiter and very fast service.

Within walking distance of the Grauholz hotel. Actually quite a nice restaurant for a rest stop. There were tables out on the patio with a kids play set if your kids needed a break. Tap water was 4 E for a liter, but better than 9 Euros for bottled water. Overall the prices were much cheaper than they would be in the city. The quiche and salad was delicious, the Cordon Blu was also delicious. The salmon was under cooked, however the waiter told us sometimes it was too dry. We ate at this restaurant twice and found the service and food to be quite good for the price (think Swiss food prices!
Thanks to the bridge, the restaurant allows to switch running side (u turn). The foods is excellent even they are serving too much. When the weather allows it, you can see a panoramic view of the alps from the left wing of the restaurant.
Modern hotel. Very good and comfortable room. No fuss. At arrival free coffee, tea, cakes. Friendly staff. I highly recommend!
We stopped here while driving on the highway to grab a quick bite. However, the food was much better than we expected; on par with an in-the-city restaurant. The indoor did not look very appealing, but the outdoor area is very nice, so we had a pleasant surprise overall. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to eat on the highway.
