Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Präsentation war sehr phantasievoll und unterhaltsam.Man hat gespührt, dass hier ein motiviertes Team mit viel Herzblut am Werk ist. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.
Auch empfehlenswert an einem ganz gewöhnlichen Tag. Super Mittagessen serviert von fachkundigem sehr freundlichen Personal. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Jederzeit zu empfehlen
Very good food and excellent service! Went there for lunch on August 1 and we were the only guests there. Staff were very nice with the kids!
Grill-Buffet, Wow! Wir hatten Glück, an unserem Abend wurde ein Barbeque-Buffet à discretion angeboten. Es war köstlich! Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch das Dessert "Ladli", eine Auswahl exklusiver Glacekugeln originell serviert.
Si vous passez dans le coin ou si vous séjournez à l'hôtel Alfa Soleil, ne cherchez plus, vous trouverez dans ce restaurant une cuisine originale et créative, les herbes du jardin ainsi que les producteurs locaux sont mis en avant. La carte des vins est très bien élaborée aussi. Le personnel est charmant et serviable. Que demander de plus?
Ate here on our recent trip to Kandersteg. As we were staying in the Hotel Alfa Soleil, we were on a set 4 course menu - 2 choices of main course but the others courses the same. They changed every night as well as having a farmers buffet one night and a gastronomic 5 course menu another. All the food was cooked to order and to an extremely high standard both in presentation and quality. The staff were all very friendly, some being family members and all were very helpful when dealing with my gluten intolerance issue. They provided gluten free bread and also adjusted dishes to meet my needs.Wine in Switzerland is not cheap but they did have very good house wines which were very reasonable comparatively speaking. Well worth a visit if in Kandersteg though suspect you would need to book as it gets very busy.
Dinner at Nico's is not to be missed in Kandersteg. The food is locally sourced, and Nico walked us through his garden as he poured each of us a glass of delicious Swiss wine. The trout was outstanding, the vegetables perfectly done (think fresh rutabaga sliced on a microtome), and the gazpacho the best ever. Loved the selection of Swiss wines. The only problem was that we didn't have room left for dessert.
This is one of the best restaurant in kandertag. We even got indian fusion food there. Presentation is awesome.
