On the top you find this restaurant, perfect for a lunch or just drink. We hade soup and pasta, tasted great. Service was fast and helpful.
We come to this ski ressort since early 90s and the Pengelstein self Service Restaurant has never been our favorite.The smell in the guest room is bad which reduces your Appetite. The prices are not cheap and there are other places to go and get better value for money.Having a drink there is ok considering the view, however the hat chocolate for instance is a mess.The toilets are clean though and this is the best reason to stop there.
Stopped here a few times for lunch during our walking holidays in 2013 and now August 2014 and recommend it highly. The food is great and typically Tyrolean with excellent friendly service.
Great stop off for some soup! Lovely and friendly, always room! A bit loud but really well priced and a great stop if you're hungry!
A quick stop for a coffee and a piece of cake meant the walk in the afternoon was much tougher than expected! One piece of apfelstrudel would probably have been enough between us!To say we were 2,000m up a mountain the cake was really fresh and the coffee had a good kick (to counter the sweetness of the cake/cream perfectly).Looking around us at other diners, portion size could best be described as hearty.
Even in summer it can be cold up in the mountains. We has a fantastic goulash soup and bread here which warmed us up. The waiter also brought us a free sample of another homemade soup when we enquired about the ingredients. Great view too!
great food and hot drinks served with a smile. especially enjoyed the germknodel with cream. the caffee lattee was great to.
We stopped here for lunch after a hour walk. Cold beer and delicious food. The sun was shining and it all went well. It must be a pearl in the winter when the skiing season is on. It was quiet calm when we were...here and we were served swiftly and cheerfully by the staff
