This is one of the bars/restaurants right at the bottom o the ski run down into the Kitbuhel, and on a sunny afternoon after a good days skiing or boarding it really is the ideal place for that first bit of Apre Ski.The restaurant is also very good, though the food isn't quite a good as some of the other restaurants in the town, this is often made up for by the lively entertainment which they have on in the form of different acts or bands.
the food is ok. service friendly, maybe sometimes too cool! the mix from apres ski and restaurant is interesting. does not harm the quality in the evening.
Everyone got their food at different times. burgers would have been good if. They wouldn't have been burned and if they were warm. Caisrschmarrn kept waiting for him for almost an hour. They were bad out there. That was a tasteless omelet. Ident. It just tasted like egg. Worst alm in 20 years.
Love skiing into Streifalm and having a beer with a lively bunch after a long day on the slopes. Perfect for that.We went for dinner one night and found the dumplings so over cooked they were hard and the beef in the goulash quite tough to the point of not be so edible.
The Striefalm is well situated and very convenient for drinks at the end of the skiing day. The outside area is heated and has plenty of tables. Inside it is cosy but often full of very young families keeping little ones happy. The outside bar staff were efficient and friendly. We did eat in the main inside area one day but found it was a little expensive for what you got. Our meals all arrived at different times and one of our party had not received their meal until everyone else had nearly finished. The waitress was also perfunctory. Still a pleasant place for drinks.
This place so close to the Streif offers excellent local food, great atmosphere
ambiente: very cozy service: ok but without charmeessen: wiener schnitzel with pommes and mixed salat- panade soft and triefend by butter (my woman had to remove the panade-) the under hidden calfs carving was tough- the pommes tasted like from the truhe and from the seemingly - the salat remains a secretive because he was saturated from a dress unfortunately the prices were not correspondingly reduced.- I don't want to go into the "Great from the kitchen"
very cozy alm near the slope, good atmosphere, eating was delicious and delicious. the service was nice and friendly. overall good location for the one-turn after skiing.
