Restaurant has a lovely terrace so we decided to have a drink and snack there. Staff is friendly but the service was very disappointing. Everything of what we ordered was brought separately by different waiter and they apparently forgot to bring us 'topfenstrudel'. It's a perfect location for a great restaurant and they should bring more effort to it.
This place is really bad. Had to wait 20 minutes and had to ask for service. The waiter messed up the order and we got part of the appetizers together with our main course. Not even an apology for that. And if you must eat here, dont take the Wiener Schnitzel. Its not good and neither are the fries. To put it in perspective: the place was almost empty.
Went to have coffee and a snack and wrte caught in chaos. Vienna schnitzel at its worst. Mix up of bills and tables... Not recommended on a busy day. Have your food elsewhere! It was embarrassing as i am a local a nd wanted to offer something special. Turned out to be a disaster
If you havnt time looking for some other restaurant,this one is good possibilities. All meals ok,waiters quick and friendly-if many people,it possible wait longer of course.
Should you ever enjoy the phantastic view of the Pyramidenkogel-tower, this is a great place to eat! Price/value is OK and the service is also friendly and quick.
At the foot of the Pyramidekogel restaurant "Genusswirt" is located, luckily with outdoor tables. (It was glorious weather). We enjoyed a sit-down at an outdoor table with drinks and scanned the menu. This restaurant is a typical restaurant, connected with a highly frequented tourist attraction. It is convenient, but not a restaurant to make an effort to visit. Not good and not bad. Service of the staff was on the same level. Politely processing the tourists.
we were here in july and that time it was fantastic especially because of the waitress with the curly hair.we had 20 persons then and the location was completely full but she was so friendly and explained us the menu. it was a really good feeling to be waited by her.this time she was not there but a co-worker with long dark hair. she talked with us like we were idiots and very arrogant. also the bill had to be corrected because she was 20 euro too expensive....we hope next time the other woman is there again....
Pyramidenkogel itself is a really cool place where to go when you're in Carinthia area of Austria because of its magnificant view but the restaurant was rather disappointing for me. The place was really crowded during lunch (13.00) and maybe that was the reason but our group of 7 had to wait for each dish for a long time that took everybody's mood naturally down. The portions were also served not on the same time so that was a bit weird. We were sitting outside but there seemed to be places also inside. Portions are big however and my chicken salad tasted well. Still it seemed that due to the location everything was highly priced and other people around were more going for a casual drink there and choosing to have food somewhere down by the sea.
