If you are looking for a traditional Corinthian restaurant set in the old Austrian style, then this would be a great choice. This is spargel(asparagus) season and their white asparagus with bernaise sauce and ham or potatoes is not to be missed. Although our favorite waiters retired this year, the current staff will take care of all your dining needs and carry on the restaurants tradition of fine good and service

Greeted by waiter who has served us on many occasions over the years. Always a fine meal and excellent selection of German and Austrian beers. They don't have own garden anymore so salads are not the same.

The restaurant is clean, quite simple, nothing fancy, and the service friendly and professional. The menu is austrian with a italian touch ,mainly meat and some fish. The quality ,taste ,is good. Not exceptional but good . The atmosphere is familial and relaxed.

Family owned restaurant and nearby hotel. Good old fashioned style service with local and international food. Good wines are available i.e. Welschriesling.

we had two menus of the day and was really good including: salad bar, soup a main dish (fish or lamb) and dessert. A glass of wine, 1 beer and water for 50 €. even the service was good.

The restaurant of "Hotel Dermuth" has been popular with the middle and upper class people of the surrounding villas for decades. This long tradition is clearly visible in the house. The furniture has not changed much, but is still in a surprisingly good condition, given its age. Inevitably, it looks a bit outdated nowadays. Even the silver cutlery, silver bread baskets and alike are still in use, although they are surely several decades old.The elegant and also very traditional menu offers a wide choice. This restaurant continues to focus on classic Viennese cuisine and it specializes in beef dishes. Nonetheless even vegetarians will find a sufficient number of dishes to choose from. We had arrived early for lunch on a Sunday and the time we had to wait for our dishes was pretty normal. In the meantime we tried the amuse gueule, namely a smoked fish spread, which had to our bewilderment already been on the table along with a basket of sliced bread at our arrival. So it did not come as much of a surprise that the bread was very dry indeed. As to the dishes we had ordered our experiences were mixed. While the Barbary duck breast was alright, the seabream fillet as well as the fried potatoes accompanying it turned out to be excessively greasy. The blue trout tasted good, but was not blue at all. Even if the color in this case has no bearing on the taste, one may expect from a classy restaurant daring to put blue trout on the menu that it is capable of cooking this notoriously difficult dish.In the course of time the restaurant became almost full and service quality deteriorated correspondingly. The personnel is only partly to blame for this since they were simply too few in number to cope with the heavy workload. At any rate, having to wait over 20 minutes for the bill is pretty annoying. This is not a bad restaurant. But seeing that it is so pricey, one may expect a better performance. We found value for money to be average at best.

eating is always very seasonal, very regional, very high quality. they ask the price for eating, but not for the restaurant. to really suggest the fine culinary experience, eating and prices, the restaurant needs a makeover.
