This place is awesome! Highly recommended this place! Tbey got excellent service around here, and the food tastes amazing. Best hotel in klosters!
Too many ski/mountain hotels have 4 coat hangers and one tiny drawer for socks/underwear etc. Our room had more coat hangers than needed, plenty of drawer space for underwear, a walk in dressing room, and ample space for all the paraphernalia one takes skiing. The beds were comfy and the cleaning staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent (we ate in the higher end restaurant, can't recall the name, but there are two), and the service was excellent. My only critique was that the juice at breakfast was not fresh it was from concentrate. This was a great stay and I would stay here again.
Visited today. Wanted to have lunch. We where told to sit down by on of the waiters at a specific table. We complied. A other waiter came and told us we cannot sit there because he had a reservation at 16.20. Note that it was 12.20 at the time. Very bad experience. I cannot tell you anything else about the food.
Very friendly staff and helpful in all aspects. Rooms are spacious and bed is extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.
“4-star hotel” with good food but some room for improvement: Rooms clean, spacious, accessible by wheelchair. Appealing to a more senior crowd or package tourists. Several elevators. Breakfast room with steps, senior guests had difficulties getting up and down the stairs. Very good breakfast, but self-service coffee machine broken, initially no coffee, no service available. Eventually, a friendly guy showed up and served coffee. No bike room. Friendly, cheerful staff, but not too helpful. We were told to put our bikes in the garage and lock them. When objecting that we had no locks with us, they declined to lend us any, but proposed we buy some in a sporting goods store. Heating not working, we were offered to dry our soaked clothes in the sauna. Spa area partly closed without prior notice. Not recommended.
Eating at the Alpina is always a very safe bet and one that I would absolutely recommend. Attentive and professional staff, cosy alpine chalet setting and beautifully cooked and served food. Super wine list, cheese board etc. What's not to like?! It's very traditional and old worldly, it's very much like entering another era and a great escape from the dresses of the modern world. So the traditional kind of dishes must of course be the idea given the town and the lovely chalet setting. Personally, I would prefer some more interesting fusion, spicy, interesting food. I've quite enjoyed the prawns with curry risotto but it tastes quite sweet, (great prawns though! and it doesn't quite hit the spot for me. I struggle generally in Klosters to find really interesting, tasty and healthy food. Despite this perhaps unfair criticism, other members of my family who adore meat, including a very fussy Grandad who's very discerning/hard to please rate the meat dishes very, very highly and come away very satisfied with the food and experience overall. No, it's not cheap, but as it's always much better quality than one can cook at home and than in other comparable restaurants in the area, means that we return often and are happy.
Beautifully decorated restaurant located in Hotel Alpina. We were a large group and had to wait several minutes before we were seated. The waiter quickly went over the extensive menu and helped us with our choices. They were able to accommodate my Gluten issues. We needed help with our wine selection and the sommelier was very knowledgable and had excellent recommendations. Overall the food was very good and the service was friendly and fast. I will definitely go there again.
We enjoyed a very good dinner not cheap but in good quality. Children menues that were served fast. Very friendly service.
