The Casa used to be an establishment, EVERYBODY was there, anyone from 8 to 88. Alex Broggi, the capable host and commited nightclub owner made everybody feel right at home. On slow, pre-season evening you could go and have a drink with him at the bar, catching up with the latest news of Klosters etc. and listen to a mix of golden oldies to 90s music, some jazz singing and piano or just sit on the top floor, enjoying the drinks, discussions out of the full noise or the terrace. Then Alex left us and the Casa was taken over by some consortium from Zurich, you would think that the music improved, well it did not. You would believe that the old regulars would support them: not at all, as they were quickly made aware that they were not welcome. No, yuppy, young, designer suit peak season guests were the ones, the bags stuffed with money from their by now unwelcome parents. What a waste, and finally, most youngsters prefer the other options in Klosters and Davos.
