We tried this restaurant based on reviews and we can confirm them! Excellent meat: we took a foundue vignerons and a foundue burgignonne. The model all you can eat is worth, even if the standard portion is already quite big.Good service, but the environment is slightly chaotic.
Food was good, but when I got the bill, it disgusted me. Only restaurant in Lausanne that makes you pay 4chf for a 1/2 litre of tap water!!!! Shame on "Aux Trois Tonneaux"! My wife is pregnant, so we weren't drinking wine. We had no real choice but to drink water. When I complained about being charged for H2O from the tap they had the gaul of acting surprised and telling me that I had to pay a service for having the glass cleaned that I used to drink the water...unbelievable. You spend 80+ chf for eating there and they charge you for tap water...
Nice tavern like atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Usually quite full for lunch, so come early. They have beef tartar every day for CHF 24..-- including salad.
I have been with my family one night for din er. We have already been to this place a few times and we knew the food is good.We recommend the meat sur ardoise which is a piece of hot stone and you cook your own meat. Cheese fondue is also good.The place gets warm very fast so I recommend wearing layers.It also gets very noisy if it is full so it is not recommended if you want to be able to speak with your friends.Service is not the best but not too bad either. They can get overwhelmed easily when it is too full.
You will find all the types of fondues here. We took the fondue vigneronne, which come with a broth based of wine and you cook your meet in it. Just perfect. The quality of the meat was excellent and the service as well
We were a group of 7 people from different countries, and had a delightful experience at La Bodega. The menu consists of the Swiss specialities -- we had chicken and meat fondue with some good wine and a salade de chèvre chaud. The service and atmosphere were both great, staff does their best to serve you well. Great choice to spend a cozy & delicious evening with friends, also for couples and business dinners, too.
Tartare fries and a salad accompanied by a glass of red wine all for 26.30chf Quick and friendly service. Good food.
Had a lovely meal here. Upstairs dining room which is small but the service was very good and the staff friendly. Chose the chevalier and it was superb. First time here but would definitely go back.
