Zooburger offers the best burgers in Lausanne! Having been to this place quite a few times, I highly recommend the Mafioso or, my favourite, the Muchacho. Burgers come with fries or a salad, your choice, but the fries are delicious as they are seasoned with rosemary and make the perfect side. Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Outdoor seating available for those hot summer days!
Waited half an hour for a burger when the place was 1/3 full. Burger was ok, not the best in Lausanne, not the worst. What was terrible however is the overall service and disrespectful attitude of staff and manager. The overall feel is not very professional. Shame because the outside space is nice, but I for sure won't be returning.
The place was very busy. The burger was OK, not as good as expected. I personally disliked the overly fried fries which made them too dry, they have a taste of thyme or some other herb. Had the feeling I had been served the bottom of the pack: tiny fries and overly salted. Much too expensive (Fr60.- for two burgers, two fries and two bottles of local beer).
Great burgers (the beef is not seasoned which I like--don't compromise the beef!). Get the mafioso. And fries. Always get fries!
I went here with my friends for lunch. We found out that here you can play cards, so we started playing 'uno'. During the game we started laughing and at the end, while paying the bill, the waiter asked who was laughing like an animal, adding the sentence 'yeah actually it's okay since it's zoo burger and we accept animals inside'. First of all you don't refer to a a client like this, second of all I can accept this kind of jokes if they come from an efficient staff, which has not been the case. Moreover, the burger wasn't even good, it arrived cold, the caramelized onions were bitter, the burger itself was chewy and it had the the bread was old. Never again
Food is as to be expected; just excellent burgers. But seating area even nicer as in the original. Must be even better in the summer with such a terrace.
Love the food and the casualness atmosphere, but the service was awful. The waiter was unfriendly and rude. I would have walked out if there were another restaurant nearly. Love to come back, but hope they change waiter by then.
A neighborhood location, good as there are not many places in these quarters, kind of hipster spirit :) burgers however are average, also slow service even if the place is 60% full
