Ein lokaler Freund hat uns diesen Ort empfohlen. Alles war großartig! Unser Kellner Matt nahm sich die Zeit, mit uns die Speisekarte auf Englisch sorgfältig durchzugehen. Wir bestellten seine beiden Top-Empfehlungen: einheimischen Fisch mit Risotto-ähnlicher Körnung und Angus-Rindfleisch mit dem köstlichsten Kartoffelpüree. Wir haben auch einige frisch gepresste Säfte probiert. Der Besitzer und Koch Pierre kam ebenfalls vorbei und unterhielt sich eine Weile mit uns. Das war unser bester Mittelwert in Europa. Y weit.
Unsere Mahlzeiten waren ausgezeichnet! Die Qualität des Essens und der Weine war hervorragend und größtenteils aus biologischem Anbau und/oder aus der Region. Dieses Restaurant war wahrscheinlich mein Favorit in Linz!

My Gulasch was delicious, my boyfriend dish wasn't really. The service is quite good and friendly. They are dog friendly which is a plus for some, and I wouldn't really mind except that the doga next to us keep bothering us and were smelling really bad. They could just recommend their costumers to keep the dogs for themselves or arrange the tables in a different way to allow dogs to be closer to their owners and not other people.
The menu is large on vegetarian options, yet also offers a lot of Austrian meat dishes. Surprise yourself - I've tried various dishes I had never had before and was always pleasantly surprised. The ingredients are organic, the quality excellent. When it gets warmer you can sit outside underneath a tree in a lovely courtyard. However, be prepared that you might have to give the waiters and waitresses a shout-out.
We popped in here for a meal after a movie at the City Kino...and I'm really glad we did! The menu is modernised traditional fare, with many vegetarian options. It is short enough that one doesn't have to spend hours choosing, but that is not to say it is short on options. The ingredients are organic, the Quality excellent. I had a small portion of organic Beef Gulasch, served with 2 decent slices of serviettenknödel (a type of bread dumpling) and a dollop of sour cream. The beef was tender and tasty and paired well with the Merlot on offer. I'll definitely be back.
Located in the Centre, this place has a great outdoors: the classic Hof garten. Good food, local dishes and local ingredients, with lots of attention for vegetarian and vegan dishes. Beer and wine selection is also way above average.
We are a small group of three people, we arrive at the restaurant well before 9pm, the waitress shows us a free table and goes for ten minutes to serve other tables. When she comes to take orders we ask for menus, but we get reply that the kitchen closes at 9pm and they do not take further orders to eat. What a shame, since it was still 20:55! End of the story, before 9pm we were out of the restaurant.
