Very welcoming. Even have a special playroom for young kids. Beautiful veranda looking over lake. Service and food excellent. Hard to beat.
If you are looking for quaint and by the water this a great spot. The food was great along with the service. Make it a point to visit this one and you will not be sorry.
Perhaps it was because it was a Sunday evening or perhaps the chef had died that day but the food was simply appalling. It's quite difficult or an Italian owned restaurant to ruin two pasta dishes but Riva did. Reheated frozen ingredients at serious prices.Many other restaurants around without wasting your time and money
The views are incredible, but there are other restaurants in Weggis with the same views. You should ask for the dessert menu, especially the ice cream menu that is teaming with delightful pictures of ice cream with fruity combinations. With summer here and the weather hot, one of these indulgences would be worth the visit. Unfortunately, we were there for dinner, but we will not return for dinner.
Very amazing location, we were Lucky to eat on the terrace in the end of december, kind service, good Franciacorta for a drink ,food a bit expensive for the level of cooking but the Panorama ....!!!
Arriving to the restaurant on a private sailing boat made a difference. Its wide terrace right on the water offers great views. The tranquil setting at the time f the year and day with good weather and visibility made it special. Seafood was very good. Service could be better. Atmosphere was simple. The waitress was attentive but there was some misunderstandings at the end. For the setting, both thumbs up! For food, one thumb up! For service, can be improved. Overall, I would go back for sure!
The perfect place for those who love eating seafood next to the water. A getaway very close to the city of Lucerne with amazing food and even better service. We always have fish and white wine a combination which reminds us of mediterranean sea and travels us in summers. Who could imagine there would be such a place in a country full of moutains? Lucky us!
