A short walk from the Hotel Splendid, this eatery has a great location and its food excellent. The menu is extensive and the wine list excellent. A great atmosphere for couples or groups, the attentive staff ensures you're well looked after.
We wandered in and no one was here. We soon realized al out every table was reserved and by the time we left the p,ace was packed. Lesson learned...make a reservation. The pasta was homemade and excellent as was the pizza. Nice place to eat and recommended.
Chose this based on trip advisor reviews and it was great. The restaurant was full and it was loud. I had a salad with chicken that was lovely. The pasta was fresh and the desserts are awesome
Great food. Delicious lasagne. The pizzas looked great too. They won't allow you to share a dish ...I found that a bit odd but I guess that's peak season greed for you.
Despite being a wet Monday night we took the precaution of booking a table earlier in the day and thank goodness - the place was bustling the whole night and was fully justified from our meal. Food quality and service was still first rate. For dessert lovers choose the Café Gourmond option which gives you a little taste of all the desserts as well as a mini cup of coffee to round off.
Fast service and the waiters are always available. Food was very good, we had pizzas (very thin ????????) burger and roast beef. Everything was tasty! Enjoy!
We live in Montreux and we like to go to Restaurant Au Parc for a meal or a pizza! Last week we went for a Pizza and a Salad with chicken, the Pizza was excellent, as we usually experience, but expensive! The prices for a pizza are between 24 and 29 Swiss francs. The salad was not very good, the chicken had a bad taste, first I did not say anything since I thought it was something wrong with me, but unfortunately it was really not good. We had 2 beers, 2,5 and we paid 62.00 francs for this meal! Even being Swiss, we think this is expensive. The tables in the veranda are very small and that is not comfortable at all. The service is good but could be a bit more friendly!
This is in my personal experience the very best restaurant in Montreux. The menu is modern Italian/European with really fresh ingredients and excellent service.It might be overlooked because it is not on the lakeside but just one street away yet it is very much worth several visits. A real gem and long may it last. :-)
