we have visited friends here, because la vela in the regular is a fun place to visit, but we will never return. the waitress was angry that one of our four parties did not order. she is on a special diet and could not eat from the menu. the rest of us ordered eating and drinks. the waitress complained a few minutes, despite our attempt to explain. we find another place!
beautiful place to see people walking along the promenade. charming, easy to go, just for a drink or a small snack or just an espresso.
Reto is a great host, fantastic views over lago maggiore
This is by far the worst experience on our whole vacation. I would never believe this crappy bar could exist in Switzerland. We ordered Aperol Spritz, only the color was ok, it was more ice and soda than anything inside. So, don't bother ordering. Also, when we were about to pay they told us it's only cash, no credit cards????????? I simply do not believe in that but I did not want to make any troubles so I had to walk ca. 1 km to find cash machines while my wife was waiting there as insurance. All in all, avoid this place, there's plenty of others.
Wir nahmen Freunde aus der Stadt hier, weil La Vela in der Regel ein lustiger Ort ist zu besuchen - aber sie haben jetzt unser Geschäft verloren. Zu unserer Überraschung und Beleidigung, die Kellnerin war wütend, dass eine unserer Partei von vier, die auf einer speziellen Diät ist, konnte nicht aus dem Menü bestellen. Der Rest von uns bestellte Essen und Getränke. Die Kellnerin beschwerte sich einige Minuten, trotz unserer Versuche zu erklären. Soll sie unseren Freund auf dem Gehweg lassen? Wir finden einen anderen Ort!
Ein toller Ort für ein Abendessen oder nach dem Abendessen Getränk. Am Wochenende erhalten Sie Musik, nostalgische Musik, italienische Oldies etc. Reto ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Wunderbare Leute, wunderbarer Ort.
