Little real choice of menu. Poorish quality. of cooking, though breakfast Was acceptable. Food did improve after appalling meal on arrival
a good dinner. the evening meal was part of our travel package so we have no choice to eat here. service was fast and the salatable was plentiful. the main dish was delicious, but average.

Surprisingly expensive given the poor location, poor state of the surrounding buildings, fairly stark and institutional look of the hotel, closed spa, prevalenc of flies, and mediocre quality of the rooms. We paid about the same amount (roughly $300) for some very nice rooms with more space and amenities in nicer hotels and much nicer neighborhoods in Geneva and Brig the same week. The bright spots for this hotel were the friendly staff and a fairly nice breakfast, but otherwise it was very overpriced and disappointing. Rooms: No frills. Dormitory feel. Walkability: Maybe a 20-minute walk to the Brig bahnhof. Reasonably accessible by bus. Not a neighborhood that there's much to walk to or look at. Noteworthy details: Pretty run-down neighborhood and immediate lot around the hotel felt run-down as well.
