We went here a couple of times with our family and had mostly just steak. The quality of the meat is great and they also have a fair selection of wines. The atmosphere is wonderful in the second room, also good for a romantic dinner. The pepper sauce is a must! Overall very pleased.
A must go if in Brand , don't forget to try the venison as its excellent , not cheap but worth the little extra
Based on the reviews in Tripadvisor we decided to have dinner in this restaurant and we really liked it. We had meat and fish dishes and all was excellent. Service was great and the restaurant has a good selection of open wine choices. Would recommend a visit
Went to the Alpensteakhaus for the first time with a an international group of eight. This rustic place is not large and you should absolutely reserve in advance. If you are a smaller group you might want to ask to sit in the second room which is a bit farther from the entrance/bar and is probably a bit cozier than the first room. We ordered all kinds of grilled meat and everything was absolutely delicious. Meat of very good quality and cooked to perfection. Also the sides, in particular the grilled veggies, were very tasty. If you'd like to try out an Austrian desert, order the 'Salzburger Nockerln', a light puffy sweet desert to die for. Only reason I am not giving five points is that service, though really kind and friendly, was sometimes a bit overwhelmed as the place got really busy and they were not staffed accordingly. Nonetheless I would recommend this place and will go again. Very good value for the money.
Great, freshly prepared steak (and other options too) at this place. The meals are HUGE. It isn't the cheapest place (but remembering you are in an Alpine resort too) but is well worth the cost (which isn't crazy expensive) as the quality is really good. The guy that was serving us did a really great job and was super friendly and helpful.
Whenever I am in Brand, I take the chance to eat here because their food and service is very good. Beef is tender and joicy, appetizers and soups are well prepared, wine list is large enough but a bit over-priced. Nice atmosphere and mountain decor complete this experience.
we were in brand and visiting this resturant at the last day. The food was excellent they have all varity of meat from USA, Argantina, Austria....the best steak that you can eat in Austria. the `chief Martin(Boss) is the well-orinated cooker of steak and he knows what he is doing. oh all of us were very happy from the meals that were served. especially the deer meat. Also the meat is very juicy and delicious. special thanks to Florion who was our waiter and welcomed us very well. `my kids had alot of fun there too. i highly recommend every one who likes steak to try this resturant.
Great steaks, a must restaurant to go to when visiting Brand. Good service and excellent atmosphere.
