was in new chatal for a dahy, and really like the place actually. the interieur may need something refurbishing, but eating is really great and authentic and they care about vegans/vegetarians like we are what was beautiful! we had a delicious meal and all...was very friendly! the coffee is perhaps not worth it (they give them only French caffe) but the tees are really good and its beautiful that it is something else! paid 62/2 people who are perfect for a meal and drink.
absolutely recommended! really delicious, varied and fresh dishes (vegetarian and vegan), much cosier as it looks from outside and super friendly host.

was in neuchatel a few weeks back to the business and decided to try something a little different, and it is not to be abandoned. I had no idea what to expect and sometimes you just have to hug it, and we have it. the restaurant is really cooled and has a very relaxed atmosphere. the staff was very friendly and fast we had ordered space, menu in the hand and drinks. the menu is in French, but the waitress quickly explained each plate and I decided to hhave in a hot sauce. the food came soon after with sponge wraps and no cutlery as this should be eaten with fingering, that was a new challenge for me. the food content was quite small, but the taste was great, flavored and soon we used all our hands only to grab the foos and soak the sauce. beautiful place, glad I tried not to make sure I would go back as I can.
We had dinner in the Abyssina restaurant in Neuchâtel. Our all you can eat menu was very interesting. This was a very new experience. There were different kinds of meats and vegetables on the big plate that is served for the whole table. Do not...look for knife and fork, you eat with your hands. There is only a small selection of wines, the list holds some ethiopian and Swiss beers. Service was very friendly but a little slow. Recommendable.
I went there on my own after a long week of work... and it was exactly what I needed beautiful homemade food, sweet and caring service and a quiet atmosphere. Everything I tried was so tasty.. that I couldn't stop eating... and they were...so nice to me and gave me more of the things I asked for. PERFECT RESTAURANT don't miss it.
A very very nice place !! Nice people and the food is excellent... well served. You need to search a little bit before finding it if you do not know Neuchatel. If you pass in front of the restaurant, you even do not notice it...! But inside it is very nice and confortable with some casual tables. I love it !
Definitelly worth trying, if you are in Neu Chatel...I have never eaten Etiopian food before and I really, really loved it. It has a very nice environment, either with 2 persons or with a big group. The stuff is really nice. Definitely recommended:o)
