Been here many times for lunch. This time for dinner. Although weirdly very quiet for a Friday evening, the service and food were excellent. We think it was inclement weather and the night before Xmas Eve put folk off from venturing up the mountain. This restaurant is consistently good.

Genau wie bei der Walliserkanne in Zermatt brach auch der Besitzer der Raten das Gesetz, defied Covid Regeln und stellte einen kontroversen irreführenden Film während der Pandemie vor. Ich werde dort nie wieder ein Dime verbringen!
Fantastic evening drink with the setting sun. A lovely place to use as a vase for a walk. We were thrilled to find a window spot. Great service, lovely drinks and sone fabulous ice creams
Horrible experience We had dinner And everything was extreem salty like even for people who like salty food it was extreem. We talked about it with the waitress but no empathy at all. It s a restaurant i will def not advice

We ordered an antricote and 2 types of pasta and everything was delicious. Portions are not very large, but the taste is great.
We have been a few times to this restaurant in the past couple years. It has lovely views and many walking opportunities around. The first time we went there, we had to pay for parking but we did not have any coins. We were planning to go for a coffee at the restaurant and so my husband asked the staff if they could change the bill into coins so we could pay the parking fee. He was told no, that is not possible, this is not their responsibility. Eventually he asked to order a glass of water and then got change that way. We thought okay, fine, maybe this person was just having a bad day. We went again yesterday and it was admittedly very busy. We were directed to go find a table in the Salle. There were no tables available so we waited awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant for 5 minutes. We have a small child and we tried to keep him out of the way, but still he was yelled at to move by a staff member carring drinks through. Once seated, my son was excited about the table decorations which were small crowns with candles inside. I removed the candle and placed it on my head to make him laugh. The waitress promptly took it from my hands, set it on the table next to us and said that is not a toy. I found this to be very inhospitable. After consuming our coffee, we wanted to get going. My husband asked for the bill and we waited 15 minutes for the bill to come. I can only assume after all this that this establishment can stay busy due to the beautiful views and playground outside, but the staff is just too terrible and we will not be back.
Das Geld nicht wert. Die Atmosphäre war unangenehm, es war sehr verkrampft. Mein Essen wurde nicht richtig gekocht und geschmeckt. Da es ein großes Zimmer ist, ist es sehr laut. Die Preisgestaltung im Allgemeinen ist viel zu hoch angesichts der Qualitätserfahrung. Das Personal wird sichtbar betont. Die einzige Möglichkeit, eine schöne Mahlzeit mit Familie zu haben, kann sein, wenn es nicht sonnig ist und das Restaurant nicht verpackt ist, aber auch dann würde das Essen traurig das gleiche schmecken. Die Aussicht ist aber schön.
