Hands-down the best authentic gelato in the region. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere for families and couples alike. Bonus: fruit and chocolate gelato for the lactose-intolerant and milk-allergic. 10/10, will visit again!

Very nice place in the heart of my hometown Oberwil. You get homemade hi quality icecream , some cakes and coffee. The ice cream can also be ordered by mail or phone for private use. Great location and nice people.

I am a regular customer at Gabriella's ice cream shop and it is the absolute best. The ice cream is amazing quality and the shop is such a welcoming environment. Gabriella and her husband are so welcoming and especially great with my young children. It is a fabulous place for families. I am coeliac and this is one of the few places I can enjoy ice cream in the knowledge it is gluten free. The shop are very good at not cross contaminating with the cones or the flavours, I have had no problems at all. It is so nice to eat real home made ice cream again . The prices are extremely reasonable for Switzerland, in fact for anywhere. Well worth a visit.
I really love this place, the owners are great and the ice cream/gelato is just so so great. we are lucky to leave in close distance, but even if you are in basel it is completely worth the tram ride. Home made ice cream with products from the area... Love their lemon ice cream, and the chocolate is wonderful... every flavour is just great!!! I am sure we will continue coming every Sunday after our family walk!!!
Today - although a cold wind was out - we visited Gabriella's shot and enjoyed hand made ice cream. Even the waffle was home made. Most delicious ice cream and great true Italian coffee. I am sure we will return, as it is also possible to sit out.I had stracciatella and ginger ice! You most definitely need to go and try.
