When we travel, we like to try the regional cuisine and authentic spots the locals frequent. At the suggestion of our concierge (Cornelius from the Grand Hotel Kempinski des Bains), we took a short ride to Restaurant Bellavista. It was dark when we arrived, so I can't speak to the view, but the food was excellent, as was the service and the décor was as authentic as it gets. We were the only tourists in the restaurant. They specialize in wild game and fish from the lakes in the region.
Disappointing experience. We were advised by locals to go here. Personnel is friendly, food and wine is very expensive, the restaurant houses a lot of semi-antique things which did not really create a good atmosphere.
I was offered to take a special meal of the retauranten: noodles with summer vegetables produced everything in the valley. it came fast and was delicious. and everything with perfect view of two or three 3000 mountains. price was Swiss like: 22 chf.
few kilometers outside the city, but one must try for local kitchen. capuns are the speciality and romi and celina are the best. more recent renovations make them feel that they eat great cozy and welcoming atmosphere in their kitchen. Eat. is fresh and delicious! stop their meal with a small shot of gum!

Ein sympathisches Bergrestaurant mit einer tollen Aussicht von der hübschen Terrasse. Der Salat mit Haloumi war frisch und gut, die Sauce selbstgemacht, Eine Rüebli-Suppe mit Wurst ebenfalls sehr gut, auch der Espresso war wirklich fein. Was will man mehr? Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
