One of the bst pizzas to be had these days served with love and care, The waitress was most helpful and welcoming, service fast. The place is warm with Alpine character and beautiful views. Highly recommended.
we enjoy the warming sun rays and enjoy the lunch on the terrace on the 12th March 2017. from the map with tending raised trips we choose a (leckere) pizza al tonno, but also teigwaren (carbonara, all’arrabbiata), which are likewise well-rounded but not overly plentiful. mineral water (chf 4.50 in the open wardrobe) and coffee (à chf 5) decide a pleasant stay in a local that is rustic-like inside and allows you to look out on the terrace on the ski slopes.
We (a friend of mine and me) made a reservation, that was no problem. The restaurant is new and has a good style, we went in the second guest room. My first impression was "a little bit loud when it is crowded." We ordered antipasti, two pizzas, wine and water, an apple strudel and a double espresso. In short words: the meal was good, especially the pizzas. Only one negativ thing: the red wine was to cold - so we decided to drink the wine at the end. We remarked it but the waiter was not able to change the wine or to inform the responsible person for this evening. Prices are the same like in the other restaurants here in this area.
my wife and I were at the beginning of february 2017 at the dinner in the boccalino. to the happiness we had reserved, the restaurant was well visited. the facility is regional and therefore rustic, nothing special. the service we felt as intrusive. they wanted to impose an aperitif, an appetizer and a wein. when we only ordered two pizzas and two radlers, we almost felt like second-class guests. the price level is also quite high for Swiss scales and does not want to match the cheap paper napkins and the rather primitive cutlery.The strength of the boccalino are clearly the pizzen! teig and ply were really excellent. whether it really is the best pizza in the world, as the boccalino advertises, we can't say, but in the region the boccalino is far ahead. that is also the basis for the 4-star rating.
Stayed in Alpenrose hotel on my skiing holiday to Switzerland. Restaurant is located in the same buliding as the hotel. Good for a drink and amazing pizza! Also easly accesible by skis!
service desagréable, servers argue. More than an hour waiting to eat. pizzas not great, promising but bad qualities especially the ham of parma. I hope the cook isn't italian or I'm ashamed for him. I strongly recommend this experience. and price station on premium
When you pretend to serve the best pizzas in the world, you have to expect customers who need it. the reception was good, the ordering also. then pizzas: they are honest, especially in wood fire, of good size, even though, in my opinion some points are to be improved. Tomato sauce is fade, not seasoned enough. Then the ham was cooked on pizza, making it salty enough. This is a pity for Parma.Last critic on espresso coffee: when we sell the quality of a true expresso on the table set. the one served was especially medium.All dishes are available in children's serving.
beautiful ambiente with nice operation. very good card with various Italian foods. very high quality: one of the best pizzas so far. high price level is at the end also justified.
