we enjoyed the day menu as dinner on the terrace and ordered a small coupe banana split - although the small portion was not on the map. very friendly and speditive operation, convincing quality with reasonable praises.
on our hike in the high moor of rothenthurm we made stop at the restaurant distel. as we were a bigger group, there were 2 menus to choose from. I have ordered the tin ham with potato salad and previously enjoyed the wonderful beard soup, which was included in the menu. very finely cooked and very speditiw and friendly served. the distel is really to be touched. menu price with suppe, fr. 17.-
the restaurant is very large. it offers enough space for large and small groups. as always on Saturday we enjoy eating with colleagues. the menus are varied and rich. the service speditiw and friendly. always happy again
we were friends here for lunch. a thousand times, and for the first time here. beautiful terrace on the back with playground for children. in the restaurant was a lot off, with a group and a family party.Greatly friendly and efficient operation with sweat and charm.The food came with a little late, but we were informed at the ordering fee that we had to bring a little geduld. everything delivered correctly, and large portions.The house wine ordered did not completely satisfy, and we changed during the post-order. much better.We come back and then we want to try the famous rösti from the distel.
We both went for the lunch menu. The porcini soup as a starter was good and house-made. The veal on a cream sauce with noodles and veggies also tasted very good. 26 CHF for this menu is a deal! There is a nice playground for the children.
nothing like a stop at a restaurant on the roadside, but this is not a common restaurant, the decoration, the family environment and the food are first, only the price that is a little salty, but it is worth every Swiss franc spent.
we stopped casually because on the way to the Zurich area. Restaurant for truckers therefore were assumed abundant portions. The wait maybe a little long, but there were a lot of people, so it's understandable. The portions, as I imagined, are plentiful, we really gouty dishes and staff is kind. The cost of soft drinks, high, but unfortunately it is so everywhere, especially in the Swiss Interior. To keep in mind for the coming trips.
