The best grate with ham, egg and bacon. I think they use fresh potatoes for rusti to clean potatoes every morning.
Very crowded place with the most friendly staff! You will get delicious, authentic local cuisine for a reasonable price. If we go skiing in the Rougemont Gstaad sector, we'll eat here.
Comfortable rooms and good food. Like you stay in someone's house what you are. Plus fun toys for children. It was great.

Lovely and authentic place up in the mountains where you can stop for lunch while skiing for an AMAZING rosti with sausage or eggs and jambon. Also try their meat that is cooked for 8 hours with a vinaigrette sauce if you are after something more substantial. Totally local and a real find. Would also recommend their lovely mirangue with cream ummmmm. Seriously sinful and amazing. Not eagles but darn real and delicious!!
The Chalberhoeni is an institution. A family owned and operated typical Swiss farm restaurant serving good quality meals, good wines and home made fair. Truly authentic and down to earth given the posh neighborhood of Gstaad
We stopped here for lunch after a couple of hours of ski. We sat at the crowded sun terrasse. Waited for 45 minutes until the waiter took our order and then another hour to get our food, although we ordered simple dishes from the menu and the daily menu which was lasagne and salad. (Never got the salad). The food was nothing special and the service was null. The price was over expensive and they charge us for dishes we never ordered. We know that ski restaurants are expensive and that you have to wait since the kitchen is overloaded, but here we fell that it was a scandal
